My name is Rosie. I am a 4 yr. old spay lavender Border Collie looking for a forever home. You will always have a companion for car rides, walks and family fun. I am very social with people and other dogs but am not good left alone with cats. I really don’t want to herd cattle, sheep or goats as it is just not my thing. I love helping with chores and enjoy being outdoors but I will chase off wildlife and cats. I stay away from skunks as much as possible. Never got into chasing balls but will play with one on my own every so often. Give me a squeaky or stuffie and I will dismantle it for you. Love being in the house and always choose the coolest place to sleep. My coat is very thick and since I get so hot I go to the beauty parlor every couple of months in the summer to get clipped. It makes a huge difference in my comfort level. I am house broke, sleep in the bedroom and a good watch dog. I am chipped, on heartworm prevention and have had my shots. I need a home where we do a lot of outside activities such as lots of long walks, hiking, going to the snow or the beach, etc.
